1-Hexyne
1-Hexyne (n-butylacetylene) is a hydrocarbon consisting of a straight six-carbon chain having a terminal alkyne. Its molecular formula is C6H10. It is a liquid at room temperature that is colorless or pale yellow in appearance.[1]

Uses
    
1-Hexyne is used for the production of complex molecules in the agrochemical, pharmaceutical, and perfumery industries. It is a component in cycloaddition reactions that produce substituted azides and isoindolinones.[1]
