The defending champions Lisa Raymond and Samantha Stosur retained their title, by defeating Cara Black and Rennae Stubbs in a rematch of the previous year's final 3–6, 6–3, 6–3, and secured the Year-end No. 1 Doubles ranking, in the process.[1]
