An association in Singapore "Anaikkadu White Cross" was started with 25 people working in Singapore in January 2008 with an aim of developing this village in all aspects; however, the village was well developed even during the 1930s and 1940s during British rule.
Demographics
As per the 2001 census, Anaikkadu had a total population of 2757 with 1356 males and 1401 females. The sex ratio was 1033. The literacy rate was 76.97.
