Area code 975

Area code 975 is a planned telephone area code in the North American Numbering Plan (NANP) for Kansas City, St. Joseph, and all or part of 15 surrounding counties in northwestern Missouri.


In an effort to provide telephone number relief in the 314 and 816 area codes, the Missouri Public Service Commission announced new overlays for both area codes.[1] [2]


According to the Missouri Public Service Commission, area code 975 will cover all services of area code 816 beginning February 10, 2023. .[3] [4] [5]
