Cyperus castaneus
Cyperus castaneus is a sedge of the family Cyperaceae that is native to Australia.[1]

The annual or perennial sedge typically grows to a height of 1 to 50 centimetres (0.4 to 19.7 in). The plant blooms between February and July producing yellow-brown flowers.[1]
In Western Australia it is found around clay pans and other damp areas in the Kimberley, Pilbara and Goldfields-Esperance regions.[1]
