Notes
- Prior to the 1986, Fathers was sacked from all of his council committee appointments and de-selected as the Labour candidate for the 1987 election after he was found to be leaking information in December 1985.
- Hamilton resigned his council seat ahead of the 1998 council election following his election as Member of Parliament for Leeds North East in 1997.
