The former West Palm Beach Hospital became JFK North Medical Center. It specializes in psychiatric and orthopedic care.
History
The hospital was founded in 1966 as a community hospital and a memorial to President John F. Kennedy.
As a teaching affiliate of the University of Miami Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine, the hospital is a major training site for students studying in the University's MD/MPH program.[1] In addition, the hospital is home to ACGME accredited residencies in Internal Medicine and General Surgery.[2]
