Kertomesis anthracosema

Kertomesis anthracosema is a moth in the family Autostichidae. It was described by Edward Meyrick in 1933. It is found in Kashmir.[1]

The wingspan is about 14 mm. The forewings are grey whitish, with scattered black specks and a triangular black spot on the base of the costa, as well as a short black mark on the dorsum near the base. The stigmata are large and black, the plical obliquely beyond the first discal. There is an irregular blackish-grey spot on the costa beyond the second discal, reaching one-third across the wing, and a transverse blackish bar followed by a suffused grey spot from the dorsum beneath the second discal almost reaching it. There is a marginal series of approximated black spots around the apical part of the costa and termen. The hindwings are grey speckled darker.[2]
