Malacothamnus mendocinensis
Malacothamnus mendocinensis is a species of flowering plant in the mallow family known by the common name Mendocino bushmallow. [1] It is endemic to Mendocino County, California, where it is known from only two populations. It has a California Rare Plant Rank of 1A (Plants presumed extirpated in California and either rare or extinct elsewhere). [2] Malacothamnus mendocinensis is occasionally treated within Malacothamnus fasciculatus. [3][4][5]
