Merooj
Merooj, Inc. (Persian: مروژ) now rebranded as Majid (Persian: مجید), is an Iranian sports producer and brand of athletic shoes, clothing, and accessories. The company was established by Dr. Majid Saedifar who was an official physical therapist of the Iran national football team. The company has headquarters in Andimeshk , Khuzestan Province , Iran.

Merooj is known internationally as the official apparel supplier for the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour, for the year 2013.[1]
Background
Majid Saedifar was born in 1955 in Andimeshk, a small city in the southwest of Iran. After finishing his school, he went to Tehran to start his university studies. He joined some football clubs. When he finished his university, he had to do his military service, and he went to Shahrbani (Pas Tehran) football club. After a perfect performance, he was invited to the Iran youth national football team. During this time, he was one of the most famous young football players in the country.
After a few years, Saedifar went to the US to follow his studying and career. There, he played for local football clubs. Because of his experience in football, he selected physical therapy as his discipline in university. After earning his master's degree, he began his career as a physical therapist in the US. A few years later, he extended his business and established several physical therapy clinics in California. While working as a physical therapist, he was also earning a PhD.
Saedifar wanted to pay tribute to his country, and waited for a good opportunity to fulfill his wish. In 2000, the Iranian national football team was invited to a tournament in the US for the first time after the revolution in 1978-79. This was a turning point in Saedifar's professional life. Iran's coaches knew him very well from past years, so they asked him to help the team as the physical therapist. Saedifar was the Iranian official physical therapist for several years. In doing so, he used his experience and knowledge to introduce physical therapy among the Iranian athletes and physical therapists.
The word 'Merooj' itself means "ant" in Luri, and is phonetically similar to "my red" in French.

Merooj sells clothing, footwear, and accessories for men, women, and youth. Men's equipment includes footwear, shirts, shorts, pants, outerwear, base layer and eyewear. Women's equipment includes footwear, shirts, shorts, skirts, pants, outerwear, base layers, and eyewear.
One of the main focuses of Merooj has been football kit and its associated equipment. The company also makes referee kits.
Merooj is known internationally for being the official apparel supplier for the 2013 FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour.
Wrestling is the other important sport that Merooj focuses on Turkey, Hungary, Georgia, Azerbaijan and other countries are the clientele of Merooj wrestling products.
