Oreta jaspidea

Oreta jaspidea is a moth in the family Drepanidae. It was described by William Warren in 1896.[1] It is found on Buru, the Key Islands, New Guinea, the Bismarck Archipelago, the Louisiade Archipelago, Australia (Queensland) and the Solomon Islands.[2]

The wingspan is about 30 mm. The wings range from yellow to brown, with speckles near the base, and sometimes a wavy line from the wingtip to the middle of the inner margin of the forewings.[3]
