Radio «Shalkar» - a structural unit of Kazakh Radio, which broadcasts only in the state language. Start broadcasting on January 1, 1966. On October 1, 2012 translated into a new broadcasting media center «QazMedia Ortalygy» in Astana. Included in the RTRC JSC «Kazakhstan».

History
Radio «Shalkar» - a structural unit of Kazakh Radio, which broadcasts only in the state language. History of specialized radio has more than 40 years. To date, the time is broadcasting 18 hours a day.
The basic concept of the radio «Shalkar» - the preservation and development of the spiritual heritage of the Kazakh people.
