Stephen Smyk
Stephen T. Smyk is an American elected official serving in the Delaware House of Representatives.[1] He has represented District 20 since 2013.[2]

Smyk is currently subject to Federal Civil litigation involving sex discrimination toward a former coworker;[3] it is alleged he committed unlawful, sex-based harassment against a colleague.[4]
Smyk is running for the Delaware Senate in the 2022 election. He is running in the Sixth District; incumbent Ernie Lopez, also a Republican, has elected not to run,[5]
Electoral history
    
- In 2012, Smyk won the general election with 6,469 votes (53.2%) against Democratic nominee M. Marie Mayor.[6]
 - In 2014, Smyk won the general election with 5,473 votes (58.1%) against Democratic nominee Marie Mayor and Independent nominee Don Ayotte.[7]
 - In 2016, Smyk won the general election with 9,209 votes (61.6%) against Democratic nominee Barbara W. Vaughan and Independent nominee Don Ayotte.[8]
 - In 2018, Smyk won the general election with 8,187 votes (56.1%) against Democratic nominee John D. Bucchioni and Libertarian nominee Harry R. Smouse Jr.[9]
