Tırtar
Tırtar is a village in Toroslar district of Mersin Province, Turkey, where the capital city of Toroslar district is actually a part of Greater Mersin. The village is in Toros Mountains at 37°03′N 34°21′E and the distance to Mersin city center is about 55 kilometres (34 mi) The population of the Tırtar was 242 [1] as of 2012. The name of the village refers to a once-nomadic Turkmen tribe. The main economic activity of the village is agriculture.
