Tahir Sinani

Tahir Sinani (25 May 1964 – 29 July 2001) was a leader of Albanian Army in Kosovo and Macedonia. During the Kosovo War, he was a commander in the Kosovo Liberation Army, and the commander of Pashtrik Operational Zone. He took part in the Battle of Paštrik. After the war, he was appointed a commander of the Third Operational Zone of the Kosovo Protection Corps. During the Macedonian Conflict in 2001, he was the commander of the 116 Brigade of the National Liberation Army.[1]

Tahir Sinani was born in the village Gri, near Bujan in the Highlands of Gjakova, Albania on 25 May 1964, and he was killed on 29 July 2001 during the conflict in Macedonia in an accidental explosion in an ammunition depot, and after the conflict he was buried in Prizren, Kosovo.[2]
