After several recent years at the helm of Rustavi from July 2020 to June 2021 he was in charge of Sioni Bolnisi.[1] As he guided the team to the top, Kilasonia was named the best manager in round one of the season. [2]
His brother Giorgi Kilasonia played for the Georgia national football team.
