South-West Qiwang
The South-West Qiwang (Chinese: 西南棋王赛; pinyin: Xīnán Qíwáng Sài), also known as the Xinan Wang, is a Go competition in China.
Outline
The tournament is a knockout hayago (blitz) tournament with 30 seconds per move. As of the 19th South-West Qiwang in 2020, the winner's prize is 250,000 RMB and the runner-up's prize is 120,000 RMB.[1] This was increased from the 18th South-West Qiwang, where the prize money was 160,000 RMB and 80,000 RMB respectively.[2]
