Vasilache made his début in Liga I with Gloria Bistrița, in 2002. Between January 2004 and January 2007 he played for Rapid București, becoming a key member of the first team squad and scoring important goals during the 2005–06 UEFA Cup, against Vardar Skopje and Feyenoord.
Following a 4 year break from football Vasilache came out of retirement in September 2021 to play for a grassroots team in Tunbridge Wells, Kent.
