Interactive & Digital Media Centre
Established on April 1, 2007, the Interactive & Digital Media Centre (Abbreviation: IDMC@SP), is an organization in Singapore Polytechnic that seeks to help Singapore enterprises (especially SMEs) to advance their use of Interactive & Digital Media (IDM). Launched in 2007, the vision behind[1] IDMC@SP was to be a centre of excellence for R&D work in the areas of Interactive & Digital Media. IDM projects are submitted to[2] IDM Programme Office and[3] IDA, and[4] MOE for R&D funding.

Real-Time Interactive Simulation (RTIS) Living Lab
Virtual Worlds such as Second Life have many possible applications for industry and education. IDMC@SP has constructed a virtual version of the IDMC in Second Life. It contains virtual exhibits and virtual meeting spaces. IDMC@SP has also used Second Life as a platform to create Machinima.
