Career
Born in Oudorp,[1] Reus began playing football with VV Kolping Boys and FC Volendam before joining the AZ youth academy as an under-15 player.[2]
Reus made his professional debut with Jong AZ in a 6–1 Eerste Divisie loss to NAC Breda on 29 August 2020.[3]
On 20 July 2021, Reus signed his first professional contract with AZ until 2023. In addition, he was promoted to the first team from the 2021–22 season.[4]
