Design
The design is a blend of Mughal, Arab, Persian and Turkish architecture.[1] An area of 50 acres (20 ha) at the top of a 60 ft (18 m) hill was selected so that the mosque would be visible from miles away. The design includes a 325 ft (99 m) single-monument minaret.[3][4] The Mosque contains 150 domes in total.[2] Height of the largest single dome is 75 meters. High quality beige-coloured marble from Balochistan is used in the construction. The complex will be surrounded by large gardens surrounded by arch-shaped walls on all four sides.[5][6]
