HY (satellite)
HaiYang (Chinese: 海洋; "ocean"), abbreviated as HY, is a series of marine remote sensing satellites developed and operated by China since 2002. As of May 2021, eight satellites were launched and two more are planned (HaiYang 3A and 3B).[1][2][3][4][5]
The HaiYang series is operated by the NSOAS (National Satellite Ocean Application Service), a subordinate agency of the State Oceanic Administration.
