Manor Solomon
Manor Solomon (Hebrew: מנור סולומון; born 24 July 1999) is an Israeli professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder or as a winger for English club Fulham and the Israel national team.

Early and personal life
    
Solomon was born and raised in Kfar Saba, Israel, to a family of Sephardic Jewish descent.[5] His parents Ayala and Yossi Solomon are Phys Ed. teachers.[6] His parents met while studying together at the Ohalo College, both majored in physical education and minored in maritime, and therefore after they married and had him – they have chosen the unique Hebrew first name Manor, which means "a boom" in sailing.[7] Solomon served as a soldier in the Israel Defense Forces.[8][9]
He also holds a Portuguese passport. which eased his move to certain European football leagues.[10][11]
He is in a relationship with his Israeli girlfriend Dana Voshina since 2018.[12][13]
Club career
    
    Maccabi Petah Tikva
    
On 26 November 2016, 17-year-old Solomon made his senior debut for the Israeli Premier League club Maccabi Petah Tikva, coming in as a 54' minute substitute in a match against Hapoel Haifa that ended in a 1–2 away loss.[14][15] On 28 January 2017, Solomon scored his first Israeli Premier League goal against Bnei Yehuda Tel Aviv, in a home match that ended in a 2–0 win for his team.[16][17]
Solomon was named in the "50 for the future: UEFA.com's ones to watch for 2018/19".[18][19]
Shakhtar Donetsk
    
On 11 Janury 2019, Ukrainian side Shakhtar Donetsk has signed 19-year-old Solomon from his previous Israeli side Maccabi Petah Tikva in a transfer worth an initial €6 million (£5.4 million), which at the time was the fifth-highest transfer fee for an Israeli footballer.[20][21][22]
On 1 October 2019, Solomon scored his first UEFA Champions League goal, when he scored in the last minutes of an away match against Atalanta that ended in a 2–1 win for his team.[23] Making him the youngest Israeli footballer to ever score in the Champions League, at the age of 20.[24]
On 26 November 2019, Solomon scored the last goal in a Champions League away match against Manchester City, helping Shakhtar to finish it with a 1–1 draw.[25]
On 21 October 2020, Solomon scored for Shakhtar the third 2020–21 UEFA Champions League away match goal against Real Madrid, in a 3–2 win for his team.[26]
On 1 December 2020, Solomon scored the last goal in a Champions League home match against Real Madrid, helping Shakhtar to earn a 2–0 win.[27]
He celebrated both his first and second two-goals displays in back-to-back Ukrainian Premier League matches against Desna Chernihiv on 14 March 2021 that ended in a 4–0 home win for his team,[28][29] and against Lviv on 21 March 2021 that ended in a 2–3 away loss.[30][31]
Fulham
    
On 13 April 2022, it was reported that Solomon is set to sign with English club Fulham for five years, until 2027; playing starting with the upcoming Premier League season, on 1 July 2022.[22][32][33][34] He was signed from his previous Ukrainian side Shakhtar Donetsk in a transfer worth an initial €9 million (£7.5 million),[35] which at the time was the fourth-highest transfer fee for an Israeli footballer.[22][32][33][34]
International career
    
At youth international level, Solomon capped 29 times and scored twice for Israel, since his youth debut with the under-16 all throughout to the under-21.[36]
Prior to the age of 17 – and even before capping for the national under-21 squad – Solomon has been called up for the senior Israel national team, by the then Israel's head coach Elisha Levy, on 21 May 2017.[37] On 7 September 2018, 19-year-old Solomon made his senior debut for the Israeli squad, at the 71' minute of a 2018–19 UEFA Nations League away match against Albania that ended in a 0–1 away loss.[38]
On 18 November 2020, Solomon scored a first half goal in a UEFA Nations League match against Scotland, earning a 1–0 home win for his native Israel.[39]
On 4 September 2021, he scored the first goal against Austria at a 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers – UEFA match, that ended in a 5–2 home win for Israel.[40]
