Pita, Guinea
Pita is a town in the Fouta Djallon highlands of Guinea, lying south northwest of Mamou. Its population was estimated at 13,735 in 2008.[1] It is the capital of the Pita Prefecture of the Mamou Region.[2]

It is known for its bakeries and for waterfalls including the Kinkon Falls and Kambadaga Falls. People in Pita usually speak Pular which is a Guinean language.
