Tony Matisi
Anthony Francis Matisi (August 23, 1914 – August 26, 1969[1]) was an All-American football player. Matisi was born in New York City and graduated from Union-Endicott High School. He played for the University of Pittsburgh where he was named a consensus All-American at the tackle position in 1937. Matisi was six-feet, two-inches tall, and weighed 230 pounds. He went on to play professional football for the Detroit Lions in 1938.
