The station went on the air in 1946 as WSGC. On 2007-08-10, the station changed its call sign to WNGA, on 2007-08-24 to WSGC, on 2015-05-18 to WMJE, on 2015-07-13 to WSGC, on 2017-01-01 to WHTD, and on 2022-02-06 to the current WGCV.[2]
