Yellowknife City Council
The Yellowknife City Council is the governing body of the city of Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, Canada. The council consists of a mayor and eight councilors originally elected to three year terms, but after a referendum in 2018 this has now been changed to four year terms.[1] The current mayor of Yellowknife is Rebecca Alty.[2]
The next Yellowknife Municipal Election will take place on October 17, 2022, with nominations opening up on August 29, 2022.[3]
