2022 Utah Utes football team
The 2022 Utah Utes football team will represent the University of Utah during the 2022 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The Utes will be led by 18th-year head coach Kyle Whittingham and will play their home games at Rice–Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City, Utah as members of the South Division of the Pac-12 Conference.

Previous season
The Utes finished the 2021 Season with a 10–4 record, and an 8–1 conference record. Utah won the South Division of the Pac-12. The Utes won their first Pac-12 Championship with a 38–10 victory over Oregon. Utah would lose to Ohio State in their first ever Rose Bowl 45–48 to end the season.
